My husband and I believe this is a great thing that is happening with Madisonville. Hopefully, it will draw a more positive image to the area and detract from the stigma Madisonville has been carrying for the past several years. From what we've been told by long-time residents and those who knew or still know people from Madisonville, this small town was the "place to be". Madisonville had alot to offer from convenience of being centrally located to neighboring towns but also offered one-stop shopping that most urban towns bring to the residents and visitors alike. We know Madisonville will once again join the ranks of such towns as Hyde Park, Oakley, Mariemont, Fairfax. It's just going to take time as well as finding the right developers to be willing to invest in Madisonville, stay vested, and to know this urban town is virtually a diamond in the rough. Continue to polish it and eventually Madisonville will shine!

My hope is that this "revitalization" of Madisonville isn't confined to the quick in/quick out Red Bank corridor and actually spreads to the NBD and surrounding neighborhood.

I totally agree. The area definitely needs stable and solid investors who want to be a part of the community offering longivity as well as encouraging the community (and surrounding neighborhoods) to build continuously, drawing in permanent residency over the next several years.
