Habitat to break ground on three homes this weekend

Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity will kickoff the construction of three new homes this weekend in Avondale and in Walnut Hills.

On Saturday at 8:30 AM, ground will be broken at (BIRD'S EYE) for two new houses being sponsored by the Eastside Coalition of Churches and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Sunday afternoon at 2 PM, the Shalom Coalition of Churches will join Habitat to begin their project at (BIRD'S EYE).

Habitat purchased both Avondale lots in late 2005 for a total of $12,100 and purchased the Walnut Hills lot in 2006 for $5,000.

This will make 30 builds for the Eastside, 12 for Shalom and the fourth involving Thrivent.
