Cause of death: Part of two conjoined buildings, the 3,780-square-foot west building had rotted framing, floor, and ceiling. The windows were open and masonry needed crack repair. The structure was originally condemned in June 2005. The owners did a few repairs without a permit, but decided to raze the building themselves prior to pre-prosecution hearings. The east building, which is far more substantial in size, remains standing (I believe).
