"FROM A SMALL SPARK GREAT FLAME HATH RISEN"

This was incorporated into the paneled fireplace on the first floor. It was finely carved into the molding near the ceiling.

It was wrong to tear down this house.

On the topic of wrecking Cincy, there were two apartment buildings that used to be up on Auburn next to Christ Hospital that just got razed a week or two ago. They seemed like relatively attractive/older buildings, so I'm guessing its a hospital expansion, but I'm not really sure. Now its just a fenced off pit.

^ Those were torn down for no apparent reason, just demolition by neglect.

As mentioned before, keep an eye on the two historic houses owned by Christ just North of the hospital entrance on Auburn. These could easily be another case of demolition by neglect.
