Neon's Unplugged to open tonight, tomorrow

The Famous Neon's Unplugged will open its outdoor courtyard at in Over-the-Rhine for a lease signing party this evening at 5 p.m.

Proceeds from the party will help Neon's new owners in their attempt to revive the building and the name of what was once one of the Main Street area's most well-known attractions.

The outdoor, cash-only event will feature two 60-foot bocce ball runs and, beginning at 7 p.m., indie/acoustic music from Scott Metcalf.

Beer will be provided by Christian Moerlein Brewing Co.

Tomorrow evening at 7 p.m., the bar will open again for the Don't Be Tricked, Vote No on 9 Party, hosted by UrbanCincy.

The neighborhood bar will then close until its Grand Opening celebration next Opening Day, April 2.
